Individual Counselling Sessions
Engaging in individual therapy offers a pathway to enhanced self-awareness, improved interpersonal relationships, effective management of challenges such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and other life stressors, all with the ultimate goal of facilitating personal growth and transformation.
Individual counselling provides an opportunity for you to receive personal support and guidance during difficult times in life, facilitated in a safe, non-judgemental, confidential and caring environment.

Individual therapy sessions can be tailored to meet your unique needs and goals. We may work together for as few as two to four sessions or as long as several months. It can help to improve your overall well-being, and can address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and relationship problems by assisting you to better understand yourself and others.
The Process
During the process I will help you to explore and work through any difficult feelings, thoughts and behaviours you may have, whilst addressing any influential or stressful memories from your past.

Throughout the therapy process, I work with different therapy modalities, which are mostly based in attachment theory. Attachment theory is a way of describing how we learnt to relate to people as young, dependent infants and children. The style of attachment that was developed between infant and parent/caregiver, has a huge impact of how a grown adult relates to people and interacts in relationships with others and themselves.Using attachment-based therapy, I aim to create a supportive and warm environment in which I can assist you on your healing journey to both personal wellness and connected and close relationships.My work is to help you find freedom from your childhood habits and belief systems which may no longer be serving you, so that you can live an authentic life where you feel comfortable asking for your needs to be met, leading to a more peaceful state of being.
